Cuddly toys on the mattress in the bedroom of the murdered girl at her home in Ban Pho district, Chachoengsao. The suspect worked as a log-cutter and lived about 600 metres from the slain girl's home. The provincial police chief said Mr Supornchai confessed during questioning, and the crime re-enactment was set for Wednesday afternoon. According to media reports, he is also a suspect in the assault and rape of three other women in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen. The 44-year-old mother found the body when she returned home from work about 4am on July 13.
